Black Hills State University is seeking a full-time Senior Building Maintenance Worker in the Building and Grounds department.

This position will be responsible for the renovation of existing campus structures, performing carpenter maintenance needs as they arise on campus, and assist with ground keeping.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
  • General carpentry skills
  • Operates the necessary tools of the trade
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints
  • Schedules the installation of projects
  • Computer skills including web browsing; Excel, MSWord
  • Professional, clear, and concise communication
  • Deal tactfully and work effectively with others
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds
  • Climb ladders and stairs
  • Work after hours or on call as needed
