Math Teacher - High School

POSITION: Union High School Math Teacher

REQUIREMENTS:

• Michigan teaching certificate in Math (EX)
• Must meet NCLB Highly Qualified status
• Willingness to support students in a resource lab setting

PREFERENCES:

• Understanding of the high school concept
• Knowledge or the ability to apply Technology to instructional structure
• Ability to work with a diverse racial and cultural student population
• Willingness/demonstrated ability to effectively work in teams
• Knowledge of Michigan standards/benchmarks and Common Core Standards
• Understanding of current instructional strategies, including Differentiated Instruction and general education accommodations and modifications
• Knowledge of data disaggregation and application to targeted assistance for general education students
• Knowledge of RTI and interventions

SALARY: Per contract
