Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. This role involves managing guest relations, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and contributing to the overall ambiance of our establishment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling options to enhance the guest experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including processing payments.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards throughout all service areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems preferred
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
