Compensation: Starting Salary $45,000 + Potential Performance Bonuses

About the Role

Punxsutawney Country Club is seeking a motivated and experienced House Manager to oversee restaurant, bar, and event operations. This leadership position ensures smooth daily operations, exceptional guest experiences, and strong collaboration between staff, management, and members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the restaurant, bar, and all club events
  • Order and maintain food and beverage inventory
  • Develop menus and daily specials
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and LCB regulations
  • Oversee budgets, payroll, and deposits; implement cost-control measures
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise food & beverage staff
  • Foster teamwork and a positive work environment
  • Coordinate with the House Committee and Golf Pro for tournaments and entertainment
  • Organize special events (weddings, luncheons, banquets, etc.)
  • Maintain cleanliness and report maintenance issues

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the restaurant/bar industry
  • RAMP & ServSafe certifications required
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proactive, organized, and decisive
  • Able to work 40+ hours per week, 7 days a week when needed
  • Year-round availability
