Overview
What you provide: Significant experience developing dynamic measurement approaches and systems, along with data products that use data to inform strategy and essential benchmarks. These translate data into brand and business value through earned, owned, shared, and paid activity built to demonstrate MSL's return on investment.
What you'll do _:_ We are currently seeking a VP, Measurement for our Consumer Brands Practice, based in our New York office. In this role, you will design and lead measurement systems and data products for our Consumer Brands clients and help scale across MSL.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and nurture deep knowledge and a POV on groundbreaking tools/ tech, platforms and partners that benefit our client work and thought leadership in the industry.
Drive new approaches and contribute to product development to help deliver the most influential and impactful work for our clients.
Lead measurement for the Consumer Brands practice, including helping teams set important metrics, measuring success and crafting value storytelling
Develop stand alone and integrated PESO measurement approaches and be able to partner with agency partners to help develop integrated measurement approaches
Be the expert and inspiring leader in assessing diverse and evolving needs across Consumer Brands' clients. Scale guidelines and tailor them to different business goals.
Stay connected with earned media and digital counterparts to evolve approaches as quickly and dynamically as the world around us
Be an expert at using web and social media analytics platforms to measure campaign success and provide data-backed recommendations for optimization.
Work in collaboration with other leaders at the agency to drive decisions that produce industry leading work and deliver POVs for clients and the industry
Serve as a thought partner on the team to provide strategic recommendations for developing and improving social / earned media campaigns.
Deeply understand client background, industry issues, products and services, key customers and competitors in the marketplace and identify needs that need to be addressed.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in digital analytics, market research or related field; agency experience preferred
Working knowledge of advanced statistics and data modelling techniques
Experience with a variety of tools related to social listening and other research tools (Brandwatch, GWI, NW, Quid, Simmons/ MRI to name just a few.)
Deep experience in creating and evolving measurement approaches managing and making clients think differently about the ROI of PR.
Ability to grasp critical business issues and knowing how to orient data around the issue, including developing interesting frameworks and simplifying complex data sets/ insights.
Experience working with or interest in data visualization tools and creative ways to display information as well as excellent storytelling
Ability to lead and coach team members
Strong verbal and written communication, organizational and time-management

Compensation Range: $121,315.00 - $194,220.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
