Estimator / Project Manager

Wolsky Metal Fabrication LLC is a growing Pennsylvania-based metal fabrication and installation company specializing in miscellaneous metals, and custom metalwork for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. We pride ourselves on precision, teamwork, and delivering high-quality results to every client.

We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our team in Norristown, PA. This role combines estimating, project management, and client coordination for steel and metal fabrication projects from bid through completion. The ideal candidate has a strong background in metal fabrication, understands shop drawings and field installation, and can manage multiple jobs simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for structural and miscellaneous metals projects.
• Review architectural and structural drawings for takeoffs and fabrication scope.
• Source materials, request vendor quotes, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage awarded projects from start to finish — budgeting, scheduling, change orders, and client communication.
• Work closely with fabrication and installation teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and measure progress.
• Track project costs, timelines, and deliverables to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Maintain documentation and updates throughout each project’s lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in steel or metal fabrication estimating and/or project management.
• Strong knowledge of structural and miscellaneous metals, welding processes, and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD (or equivalent), and estimating software.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to visit job sites across PA and NJ
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required (experience may substitute).
