Who We’re Hiring Right Now
We're looking for a human-focused healthcare writer who can turn complex concepts and information into content that drives behavior change on common healthcare actions such as preventive screenings, program enrollment, medication adherence, and more. You'll work on projects for health plan, health tech, and PBM clients across various populations (e.g., commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.) designing multichannel campaigns that reach millions of members.
What You Will Do
As a consultant on our team, you’ll contribute to a wide range of initiatives focused on improving healthcare operations and the consumer journey. Depending on the project, you might be:
- Designing and implementing multi-channel engagement strategies
- Analyzing data to optimize campaign performance
- Supporting process improvements across functions like call centers, marketing operations, and quality.
- Translating complex information into compelling visual presentations for executive audiences
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to drive change from idea to execution
You’ll wear many hats, but at the heart of the role is a shared mission: making healthcare more human, more effective, and more aligned with the people it serves.
Domain Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, especially health plans, hospital systems, health technology and/or PBMs
- Familiarity with core business areas like operations, strategy, marketing, and quality
- Understanding of key healthcare technologies and platforms (think: marketing automation, document composition, call center tools, etc.)
Core Skills:
- A natural project manager: organized, communicative, and focused on outcomes
- A strategic thinker who can zoom out to see the big picture, but also roll up their sleeves to get into the details
- Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data storytelling) and PowerPoint (strong visual storytelling)
- Comfortable analyzing data and turning insights into action
- Exceptional communicator—written, verbal, and visual—with a client-first mindset
Preferred Skills - Behavior Change Campaign and Content Focus:
- Experience creating/revising multi-modal, member-facing healthcare content across all populations
- Experience supporting development of behavior-based segmentation to enhance personalization
- Proven experience implementing calls-to-action that drive measurable impact on engagement, clinical outcomes, operational metrics, and reducing the cost of care.
- Strong ability to partner with cross-functional client teams to develop content strategies
- Examples of translating complex healthcare concepts and information into plain-language member communications
- Comfort participating in client presentations and content reviews; incorporate feedback and iterate quickly
- Knowledge of human-first, health literacy, and accessibility best practices
- Experience with CMS marketing guidelines, ADA accessibility standards, state regulatory requirements, and legal review processes
- Ability to maintain brand voice consistency across multiple payor clients while adapting to each client's tone and guidelines
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Experience building and presenting clear, data-driven recommendations and presentations for internal and client stakeholders
- Familiarity with multi-channel outreach
- Experience leading content development workstreams focused on strategy, segmentation, copywriting, and design
