Operations & Administrative Director
Full‑Time (40 Hours)
Oak Valley Baptist Church – Franklin, TN
Oak Valley Baptist Church is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and ministry‑minded Operations & Administrative Director to support the mission of our church by ensuring smooth, efficient, and unified operations across all ministries. This is a full-time position that entails administrative, communication, scheduling, and organizational tasks for church leadership, including planning and coordinating church events.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the master church calendar and approve all building usage
· Oversee room reservations, event scheduling, and facility coordination
· Serve as OneChurch administrator (groups, attendance, membership, workflows)
· Provide administrative support to ministry staff
· Coordinate and support church‑wide events including materials, and communication
· Develop and maintain a unified communication strategy
· Manage social media accounts and digital presence
· Serve as the first point of contact for office inquiries from church members, visitors, and external contacts.
· Manage the day-to-day financial processes, including invoice, expense management, payment processing, and vendor management.
Qualifications
· Strong organizational and administrative skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Ability to take ownership of scheduling, team coordination, and operational follow-through
· Familiarity with social media and basic content creation
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and church management software
· Team‑oriented, proactive, and dependable
· Committed to the mission and values of OVBC
Nice-to-Have Skills (not required)
· Experience with Canva or similar design tools
· Website management experience
· Background in church communications or nonprofit operations
