Nestled in the heart of the East Village, Black Sheep has been a staple in the local nightlife scene for over 10 years. We pride ourselves on providing an unparalleled experience for our patrons, with top-notch service, an unparalleled atmosphere, and the best Djs in DMI. We are seeking a friendly and vigilant Door Person to join our dynamic team and be the first point of contact for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Warmly greet and welcome patrons as they approach the bar.

Check IDs to verify age, ensuring no underage individuals gain entry.

Monitor crowd size and manage the line/queue effectively.

Handle any potential disputes or disturbances calmly and professionally.

Coordinate with bar staff and security about capacity and any potential issues.

Keep the entrance area clean and orderly.

Report any security concerns to management and/or local authorities.

Uphold the reputation and safety standards of [Bar Name].

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a door person or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A keen eye for spotting fake IDs and potential issues.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
• A positive and professional demeanor.
