BrandStart is an AI-forward agency helping NYC small businesses tell their story and build their brand through marketing, web, video, and AI services. Our clients are the immigrant entrepreneurs and independent merchants that keep New York running.

The Role

Own the full sales cycle, from first outreach to signed contract, selling BrandStart's services to NYC small businesses. This is an in-person, field-heavy role across the five boroughs.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect, pitch, and close small business owners in person and over phone, SMS, and email.
  • Walk storefronts, run discovery conversations, and build a healthy pipeline.
  • Keep CRM clean and hand off signed clients to delivery teams.
  • Represent BrandStart at community events and resource fairs.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of B2B sales, ideally with SMB clients.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and in-person prospecting.
  • Clear communicator who can explain marketing, web, and AI in plain English.
  • Deep familiarity with NYC neighborhoods.
  • Bilingual preferred (Bengali, Spanish, Mandarin, or other NYC-relevant languages).

Compensation

Base plus commission. Specific numbers negotiated during intake.
