The Little Cherry Coffee Co is a vibrant and fast-growing provider of delicious coffee and exceptional service. We pride ourselves on delivering the best cup of coffee to our customers, wherever they are. With three mobile coffee carts operating in Hamilton we attend both private and public events along with a regular Monday to Friday routine. We have also recently opened up a coffee shop/ cafe. Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for operating our mobile coffee cart, preparing and serving high-quality coffees and other beverages, and providing outstanding customer service (after a team player who is not afraid to get their hands dirty). With our new storefront we also have work available there. As the owners, we’re focused on expanding the brand and taking it to new heights. We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who is ready to grow with us, eventually taking full operational control of the business to allow us to focus on marketing and expansion. Position Overview This role is initially offered as a 2IC (Second in Charge) position, with the goal of stepping into a leadership role managing the physical operations of the coffee cart. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, a passion for great coffee, and the desire to be an integral part of our growing business. Responsibilities: -Set up and prepare the coffee cart or coffee shop for operation each day, ensuring cleanliness and organisation -Make and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, flat whites, lattes, cappuccinos, and more including iced drinks -Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing exceptional service -Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently -Maintain inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed -Keep track of sales and report daily totals to management -Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times -Drive coffee carts to and from bookings/ events with provided vehicle Requirements: -Previous management experience in a customer service or hospitality role (minimum 2 years) -Barista experience -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to reverse a trailer or tow a trailer is a plus -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively -Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills -A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service -Full licence is a plus, but restricted licence at a minimum Schedule: This role is a full time position with roughly 20-30 hours. The ideal candidate will be available to work mainly weekends along with weekdays, and holidays as needed. Majority of the work load is during the weekends. The Little Cherry Coffee Co has been rapidly growing so there is potential for an ideal candidate to grow within the business and pick up more hours. Typical work hours are 6am until 1pm and weekends vary.
