Coast2Coast Culinary is a fast-growing catering and corporate dining company based in Castle Rock. We specialize in delivering high-quality, chef-driven food experiences with a focus on consistency, professionalism, and hospitality.
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Catering Captain to serve as the primary point of contact for one of our flagship corporate dining accounts.
Job Summary:
This role is best suited for someone who takes pride in ownership, consistency, and being the person a team can rely on every single day. You will be primarily responsible for executing daily corporate catering service Monday through Thursday, with a consistent schedule of approximately 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
You will manage the full front-end execution of service — from loading at our kitchen to on-site buffet setup, service, and breakdown — acting as the face of our company for a high-visibility client.
As a growing company, this role requires availability for weekend events and periodic morning or off-schedule support, as well as optional/occasional opportunities for additional hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Preparation:
- Arrive punctually at our kitchen to gather all food, equipment, and service materials
- Review daily orders and confirm accuracy, quality, and presentation standards
- Organize and load vehicle efficiently for transport
On-Site Execution:
- Travel to client location and complete buffet setup by scheduled service time (typically 11:00 AM)
- Serve as the primary on-site representative of our company
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional buffet presentation
- Monitor, replenish, and manage the flow of service throughout the meal period
Post-Service Responsibilities:
- Remain on-site through the end of service (approximately 1:00 PM)
- Break down buffet and pack all equipment efficiently
- Transport all items back to the kitchen
- Assist with light reset/organization to prepare for the following day
Communication & Standards:
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for the client, handling requests professionally and proactively
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and leadership teams regarding any issues, feedback, or special requests
- Uphold high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation at all times
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in catering, food service, hospitality, or event execution strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily service execution
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, client-facing demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to consistently work Monday–Thursday daytime schedule, with flexibility for additional shifts as needed
