QUALITY INSPECTOR

Location: Frankfort, KY Shifts Available: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift

We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable Quality Inspectors to join our manufacturing team in Frankfort. salary: $19.25 - $20.25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 2:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Part Inspection: Visually and physically checking parts for defects, inconsistencies, or contamination.
• Tool Usage: Utilizing basic tools such as calipers, scales, magnifying glasses, and sometimes hand tools like rubber mallets or drill presses for sample preparation.
• Documentation: Recording inspection results, filing scrap tickets for rejected parts, and maintaining lot traceability.
• Communication: Reporting quality issues to the Quality Manager or production engineers to address the root cause of defects.
  
  
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Some roles are "no experience necessary" (entry-level), while more senior technician roles may require 1–3 years of manufacturing or quality experience.
  
  
• Skills: * strong attention to detail (identifying small visual defects).
  • Basic math and computer skills (MS Office).
  • Ability to read and interpret part drawings/blueprints.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25–35 lbs, and perform repetitive reaching or bending
