Jr. Ag Lender: (Seeking someone with a passion for agriculture, no banking expeirence required.)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with agricultural clients, including farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness operators
- Analyze agricultural operations, including crop and livestock production, to understand clients’ financial needs
- Assist in evaluating loan applications, including gathering financial data and supporting credit analysis
- Partner with senior lenders to structure and recommend loan packages
- Conduct farm visits to assess operations, collateral, and overall business health
- Monitor existing loans and maintain strong client communication
- Stay informed on agricultural trends, commodity markets, and local farming conditions
- Provide excellent customer service and support to build long-term client relationships
Qualifications
- Required:
- Strong background in agriculture (e.g., farming, ranching, agronomy, ag business, or related field)
- Practical, hands-on experience working in agricultural environments
- Solid understanding of crop cycles, livestock operations, equipment, and/or ag economics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to learn financial and lending concepts
- Preferred (but not required):
- Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Ag Economics, or related field
- Basic financial literacy or exposure to accounting principles
- Sales or relationship building experience
