Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinic/Ambulatory
Location: Bronx, NY 10451, United States
Shift: Day Shift (11:30 AM – 08:00 PM)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x7.5 Hours (37.5 Hours/Week, 1 Hour Unpaid Lunch)
Duration: 14-Week Contract

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient/ambulatory setting. This role involves hands-on clinical care, patient assessment, and coordination with healthcare teams to ensure efficient and safe treatment delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced clinic environment and maintains a strong focus on patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Duties:

  • Deliver direct patient care in an ambulatory/clinic setting
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures
  • Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures

Care Coordination:

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Patient Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow established clinical protocols and infection control standards
  • Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and best practices

Administrative Support:

  • Document patient information in EMR systems accurately and efficiently
  • Support clinic workflow, including patient flow and scheduling as needed
  • Maintain proper use and handling of medical equipment and supplies

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg or ambulatory/clinic setting
  • Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
