As our student population grows, St. Thomas is looking for enthusiastic candidates to fill Elementary teaching positions with individuals who value their faith and are driven to help students grow in theirs.

Applicants must work to fulfill the mission of St. Thomas - forming students in the Truth by instilling a capacity for Christ, Compassion, and Character, helping them grow in Mind, Body, and Spirit. Candidates must hold a valid, Indiana teaching license and have a strong understanding of best practices in education.

Those interested must be ambitious, seeking regular professional development and opportunities for growth. Teachers should be willing to take risks - pushing students to achieve at the highest levels. Candidates must be outgoing, willing to build positive relationships between students, parents, administrators, and all parishioners at St. Thomas.

Applicants should understand how to lesson-plan using differentiated instruction and varied modalities. Classroom management skills and strategies should also be well understood. A familiarity with technology is preferred but not required.
