salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Lead systemic improvements across two CT plants, focusing on root-cause analysis (5Y), real-time problem solving, and cultural transformation.
  • Optimize business performance to target zero accidents, zero defects, and 100% on-time delivery at minimum operational cost.
  • Direct the quality organization’s engagement with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to align on reliability objectives.
  • Establish and maintain SPC procedures to identify trends and execute corrective actions on variances.
  • Develop Lean Six Sigma-based FMEA and quality plans for rigorous inspection and testing across all manufacturing operations.
  • Implement statistically sound sampling and reporting systems to track and evaluate real-time quality and reliability data.
  • Oversee internal procedural audits to ensure continuous adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the lead contact for customer quality teams to resolve concerns and mitigate risks for existing product lines.
  • Spearhead the operationalization of new products to ensure seamless qualification and zero-defect production launches.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff using TWI (Training Within Industry) methodologies to enhance technical competencies.
  • Foster a transparent culture that encourages idea sharing and open two-way communication across the quality team.
