Project Manager – Architectural Metal & Glass Location: Manhattan, NY 

The Opportunity Join a premier, family-owned construction firm specializing in high-end Architectural Metal and Glass across the NYC skyline. We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead complex commercial projects from submittals through final closeout. This role offers total accountability for project financials, procurement, and profitability, alongside the authority to mentor a project team in a highly collaborative environment.

Position Overview The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, under budget, and to the highest industry standards. You will serve as the primary link between Estimating, Drafting, and Field Operations, utilizing a "can-do" attitude to maintain client relationships and drive project success. This is an ideal role for a disciplined professional who thrives on organization, strategic planning, and the fast-paced nature of NYC glazing and metal construction.



salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring success in all activities, including close-outs and warranties.

  • Documentation & Systems: Maintain accuracy in eSub; manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and job costing.

  • Technical Coordination: Review architectural drawings/specs; collaborate with Estimating and Drafting for accurate shop drawings and take-offs.

  • Financial Management: Monitor budgets, procure materials cost-effectively, and approve monthly billings.

  • Scheduling & Logistics: Create comprehensive timelines; coordinate with fabrication and field supervisors for site conditions, sizes, and installation.

  • Communication: Act as the primary liaison for GCs and customers regarding schedules, lead times, and quality control (punch lists).

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years as a PM in the architectural glazing industry (Required).

  • Skills: Expertise in Bluebeam, MS Office, and PM software.

  • Attributes: High attention to detail, ability to multitask under pressure, and excellent communication.

  • Education: Some college preferred; PMP certification is a plus.
