The Office of Administrative Services is seeking a Staff Assistant to play a key role in ensuring compliance, accountability and efficiency across essential administrative functions.
As the Staff Assistant in the Executive Director's Office, you will support high level operations by:
- Compiling and analyzing detailed performance metrics to support leadership decision-making.
- Serving on various internal compliance and review processes to include outside employment, educational assistance, and federal Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement reviews.
- Reviews draft policy documents and makes recommendations to executive leadership team.
- Once policy changes are made, ensures they are posted to internal Sharepoint site for cabinet employee reference.
- Serve as lead contact for cabinet travel requests which includes the coordination, review and approvals to ensure compliance with regulations and cabinet policies.
- Review and approvals of cash deposits as lead contact for the cabinet.
- Ensures vendor compliance regarding audit requirements of federal law 2 CFR 200.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- eMARS and EBI reporting experience.
