Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Randstad Staffing is hiring for a Direct-Hire Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Plymouth, MN for an established cnc machine shop in the aerospace industry. We are seeking applicants with prior experience using Forklifts, ERP/MRP, Clean Driving Record and support the team as needed. Responsibilities

•  Prepare outgoing shipments & corresponding paperwork for all parts that arrive at shipping desk by 3:00 p.m.
• Complete job routings within 24 hours of shipping.
• Receive, distribute and process incoming shipments and paperwork within 4 hours of arrival.
• Coordinate proper shipping carriers based on schedule due dates and pricing and PO requirements.
• Perform proper cleaning and packaging of all parts.
• Proper handling of chemicals, SDS and PPE.
• Report shipment status and tracking information when appropriate.
• Operate material handling equipment – i.e. forklifts (training provided)
• Must work overtime as required for business needs.
• Local travel between both facilities likely.
• Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided.
• Clean driving record - REQUIRED
• Complete purchasing tasks as needed (Backup to Purchasing)
• Properly document all work completed both on Job Travelers and in ERP system
• Work effectively within a team to help achieve company goals.
• Perform or schedule routine maintenance and/or preventative maintenance on facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns on light equipment.
• Assists in set up and installation of new and relocated equipment as needed.
• General building & facility maintenance / other duties as assigned.
• Communicate with Facilities Manager about facility needs.
• Perform general repairs, improvements and other special projects as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as needed
