Job Title: RN – Nurse Educator (MCH: L&D / NICU / Pediatrics)
Shift: Day Shift (07:30 AM – 04:00 PM) | 40 hrs/week
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206, United States
Contract: 14 Weeks (Travel Assignment – No Extension)

Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to support Maternal Child Health (MCH) units including Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother-Baby, and Pediatrics. Role focuses on staff education, competency development, clinical support, and promoting evidence-based patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver staff education, in-services, and competency training across MCH units
• Support onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing clinical development
• Serve as a clinical resource and promote best practices
• Identify learning needs and support quality improvement initiatives
• Provide cross-unit coverage across L&D, NICU, MBU, and Pediatrics

Requirements:

• 2+ years Med-Surg experience
• 2+ years Labor & Delivery experience (required)
• Strong Maternal Child Health background
• Prior teaching/education experience preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Education & Licensure:

• ADN/ASN required; BSN/MSN preferred
• Active NY RN License + NYSED verification
• AHA BLS certification required
