St. Bartholomew Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Middle School Writing and Grammar Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster strong writing skills, promote a love of language, and support the academic and spiritual development of students.
Responsibilities:
Teach writing and grammar to middle school students (grades 6–8)
Develop engaging lessons that build skills in composition, grammar, and critical thinking
Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Integrate Catholic values into daily instruction and classroom culture
Maintain clear communication with parents, students, and staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field
Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain one)
Strong knowledge of writing instruction and grammar
Commitment to Catholic education and values
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
