Nixon Forensic Center positions:

• Day shift position- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

• Evening/Weekend position- Tuesday-Friday, 12:00pm-8:30pm and Saturday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services positions:

• Day shift position- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Starting rate of pay- $36,143.04 plus 12% security differential while working in NFC/SORTS

Responsibilities - What you’ll do

• What you'll do:

  • Plan and implement groups/activities to assist clients in their recovery/treatment – focusing on recreation/leisure, life, work, social, physical/wellness skills
  • Serve as job coach to clients in the work therapy program/ unit
  • Provide a safe/secure environment during client activities
  • Observe client behavior, informing treatment team and document client progress/behavior in the Electronic Medical Record
  • Plan and implement special events for assigned program
  • Participate in program planning
  • Maintain needed supplies and equipment

Qualifications - All you need for success

Minimum Qualifications:

• Possession of High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or the elderly population in one or more of the following areas: recreation, physical education, arts and crafts, horticulture, health and fitness, arts/expressive arts, music or a closely relation area.

Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
