About Krave It Denver

Krave It Denver is a high-energy restaurant and bar located in the Ballpark / Coors Field area of Denver. We serve pizza, wings, sandwiches, drinks, and late-night food in a fast-paced, sports-driven environment. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and help drive the continued growth of the business.

This role is ideal for a proven hospitality leader who can balance guest experience, team management, operational excellence, and financial performance. The General Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards across all areas of the restaurant while leading from the front in a busy, high-volume environment.

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house leadership, staffing, scheduling, customer service, inventory, compliance, and overall business performance. This person must be able to lead a team effectively, make sound decisions under pressure, and ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and professionally at all times.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

  • Oversee all daily restaurant and bar operations
  • Ensure smooth execution of lunch, dinner, late-night, and high-volume event or game-day service
  • Maintain strong communication between kitchen, bar, floor, and delivery teams
  • Ensure consistent execution across dine-in, takeout, delivery, and bar service
  • Monitor daily operations and resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Open and close the restaurant as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional operation at all times

Team Leadership and Development

  • Hire, train, coach, and manage front-of-house and back-of-house team members
  • Create staff schedules based on business needs and labor goals
  • Set clear expectations for performance, service, accountability, and professionalism
  • Lead by example and remain actively involved in the operation
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to team members
  • Build and maintain a strong team culture focused on urgency, consistency, and hospitality

Guest Experience

  • Ensure every guest receives excellent service and a positive overall experience
  • Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Uphold high standards for food quality, service speed, cleanliness, and hospitality
  • Help create an environment that encourages repeat business and positive word-of-mouth

Financial and Business Performance

  • Drive sales while maintaining control over operating costs
  • Manage labor to align with sales volume and service expectations
  • Monitor food cost, beverage cost, waste, comps, and discounts
  • Review daily and weekly sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support ownership with reporting, planning, and execution of operational goals
  • Assist with promotions, special events, and local marketing efforts to increase traffic and revenue

Inventory, Compliance, and Systems

  • Oversee ordering, inventory levels, receiving, and vendor coordination
  • Maintain proper stock levels of food, liquor, beer, supplies, and paper goods
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations
  • Maintain inspection readiness and enforce operational procedures
  • Oversee POS usage, cash handling, shift reports, and other operational controls

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Senior Restaurant Manager
  • Strong background in high-volume restaurant operations
  • Experience managing both restaurant and bar service
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Strong skills in scheduling, labor management, and daily shift execution
  • Experience hiring, training, coaching, and managing team members
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and event-driven schedules
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and actively manage day-to-day operations
  • Must provide at least 2 professional references
  • Applicants without at least 2 professional references will not be considered

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pizza, sports bar, nightlife, or late-night restaurant concepts
  • Experience with third-party delivery platforms and high-volume takeout operations
  • Understanding of food cost, liquor cost, inventory management, and basic P&L performance
  • Familiarity with restaurant POS and reporting systems
  • Knowledge of the Denver hospitality market is a plus

Schedule

This is a full-time position and requires schedule flexibility, including:

Compensation and Opportunity

Compensation is competitive and will be based on experience. Performance-based incentive opportunities may be available for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operator who wants to play a key role in building and leading a growing restaurant concept in Denver.
