Job Title: RRT

Unit: Respiratory Therapy

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Possible Extension)

Shift: 5 x 8hrs, Days

Location: Bronx, NY, 10461

Travel Pay (Above 50 miles):
Hourly: $25 (W2) + $1,960(Non-Taxable Stipend)
Gross: $2,897.50/week

Local Pay (Within 50 miles):
Hourly:$65-$67 (W2)

Job Overview:

A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides specialized care to patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. They assess, treat, and monitor patients requiring oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and other respiratory interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients with respiratory conditions
• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and respiratory treatments
• Operate and manage ventilators and life-support equipment
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Assist in airway management, including intubation support
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and code situations
• Educate patients on respiratory care and treatment plans
• Document patient care and treatment progress accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams

Required Qualifications:

• State License of NY.
• Active BLS,(AHA) required
• RRT Certification
• At least 2 year of experience as RRT.
