Work week: 1.0 FTE Monday-Friday (8:00 am-4:00 pm)

Student Level: 6-8 grade

Position Summary:
Performs intermediate professional work in working with students from diverse cultural, economic, and ability backgrounds to assist students with academic planning, personal goal setting, post secondary options, post high school opportunities, family systems/change and crisis intervention., and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Building Principal.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree with School Counselor coursework, or related field and moderate experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master's degree preferred.

Special Requirements:
Minnesota School Counselor License Required.
