Veterinary Technician

Job Description

Veterinary Technician – Bedford Animal Hospital (Bedford, NH)

Independently owned since 1952 • Modern medicine • Zero corporate nonsense

About Us

Bedford Animal Hospital has been independently owned — and proudly so — since 1952. In a sea of corporate consolidation, we remain a community-rooted, relationship-driven small animal hospital (canine/feline only) where pets are treated like family and people are treated with respect.

In Spring 2025, Bedford Animal Hospital transitioned from Dr. William Sofield to Dr. Sarah Gorman, ushering in thoughtful modernization, renovation, and revitalization while preserving the heart, history, and legacy of the practice. Today, we blend gold-standard veterinary medicine with a warm, unpretentious, New Hampshire–proud culture.

As part of this modernization, we are moving fully digital with integrated systems and AI-supported documentation — allowing our medical team to focus less on paperwork and more on patient care.

Our Mission

At Bedford Animal Hospital, our mission is simple:
To honor the legacy of our independently owned practice by providing thoughtful, personalized, low-stress veterinary care rooted in compassion, integrity, and excellent medicine.

Veterinary Technicians are central to this mission. You are a clinical partner to our doctors, a patient advocate, and a trusted resource for clients — delivering skilled, compassionate care every day.

The Position: Veterinary Technician (Non-Certified / Early Career)

This role is designed for experienced, non-certified veterinary technicians with 1–5 years of full-time clinical experience who are confident in core technical skills and eager to continue advancing medically and professionally.

You’ll succeed in this role if you bring:
