ABOUT THE ROLE Provide critical support to the business, specifically in the areas of production, finished product inventory and marine logistics. This position will work closely with the production and sales team to create and implement continuous improvement initiatives, as well as to perform detailed business and data analysis to support decision making.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH - Subject matter expert in entry of data into SAP, and utilization of reporting out of SAP
- Ensures the Production elements of the manufacturing module of SAP are correctly maintained (recipes, resources, etc)
- Ensures all manufacturing data is correctly entered into SAP for the region, working with plant/operations team to ensure accurate reporting of production volumes and downtime incidents
- Ensures KPI reports accurately reflect true operational conditions at the plant level
- Works closely with materials performance, sales, logistics and operations to ensure efficient management of production costs; inventories - contributing to / leading a monthly cycle to review sales outlook and production models
- Key contact for marine vendors/carriers to ensure Amrize meets contractual obligations in relation to timeliness and accuracy of all payments. Update, maintain, and manage all conditions in ERP (SAP) system including but not limited to freight rates, fuel surcharge, and all accessorial charges for marine related activity
- Setup and update all new carriers/vendors in SAP Responsible for updating, monitoring, analysing, and tracking all barge related cost data compared to budget
- Responsible for maintaining Amrizs internal barge tracking software TowWorks and its reconciliation with ERP
- Utilizes Qlikview to implement and track all sales, production and inventory data.
- Monthly Accrual - responsible for ensuring that all cost is accounted for and accurate
- Experienced in project management and streamlining processes to improve efficiency
- SAP work in recipe, BOM, inventory and production entry
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education: Bachelor's degree 6 years of equivalent experience.
Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Logistics, Business, A/P, Supply Chain, Manufacturing
Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience
Required Technical Skills: Excel, SAP, Qlikview; Salesforce. Microsoft Office and Gmail are a plus as well
Additional Requirements: - 3+ years of SAP & Excel experience
- Microsoft office computer experience required.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment , including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
