Job Title: Music Teachers- Multi-Instrument Music Instructor
Reports to: Program Coordinator
Direct Reports: N/A
Classification: Part-time, Flexible schedule, In-Person, Remote, or Hybrid

We are a growing music school looking to add Teaching Artists to our teaching roster!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and teach private lessons ranging from 30 min to 1 hr weekly
• Monitor and record the progress of each student
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings
• Foster an engaging and inspiring learning environment which focuses on the whole being of the student
• Must be a legal resident of MN

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in music or equivalent experience
• Passion for teaching & commitment to continuing development of teaching skills
• Understanding of multiple musical styles
• Excellent technique and proficiency in performance
• Strong interest in working with diverse socioeconomic groups
• Knowledge of cultural competency and ability to adapt to ensure inclusive participation

COMPENSATION

• $26-40 Per Hour
