Medication Cart Auditor - Long Term Care Facilities

Care One Pharmacy Services, located in Niles, IL is an independently owned Long Term Care pharmacy serving nursing homes in IL, WI, OH, MO, and IN. We are looking for Medication Cart Auditors who share a compassion for working with a great team and a desire to provide services for our nursing facilities. Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.

The Facility Medication Cart Auditor role is a hybrid of customer service and providing services to our long-term care and assisted living facilities. Travel is required DAILY. YOU MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER. We are looking for the candidate who wants to work and has a solid foundation.

The cart auditor will visit facilities and provide in services related to pharmacy services, review medication storage, inspect across the facility pre-survey for possible deficiencies and build strong relationships with DON's and staff nurses.

Excellent communication skills and presentation are a must. You must be a solid team player.

Med Cart audits are done daily as we review nursing care facilities med storage. We also change cycle medications monthly. You will also be part of our "Acquisition Team," ensuring new facility openings go smoothly from our pharmacy team. Overnight stays are required depending on the region you are assigned to work. Travel expense included (meals, rental cars, hotels, gas).

Flexibility and the ability to travel on short notice are an important part of the position.

• PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH FRAMEWORK PHARMACY SYSTEM A BIG PLUS
• ROAD WARRIOR - there will be a lot of time visiting facilities
