Administrative Assistant – Department of Natural Resources
The Town of Sandwich is seeking a qualified candidate for a 37.5-hour per week Administrative Assistant position in the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), working under the direction of the Department of Natural Resources Director.
Responsibilities include:
· Processing Conservation Commission applications, permits, and decisions.
· Handling other DNR-related permits and applications as well as working closely with other inspectional offices such as building and health departments
· Providing courteous and professional assistance to the public in person and over the phone.
· Maintaining meticulous records and ensuring organized filing systems.
· Preparing for and attending night meetings, including transcription of meeting minutes.
Qualifications:
· Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
· Excellent computer, communication, and customer service skills.
· Ability to work tactfully and effectively with the public and staff.
Compensation:
· $24.58 per hour, 37.5 hours per week.
