Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mission, KS, for a Sales Representative. The Sales Representative will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, including identifying potential clients, conducting outbound prospecting, creating tailored presentations, and negotiating contracts. The role involves building strong client relationships, understanding client needs, and collaboratively proposing customized solutions to address business challenges. The Sales Representative will also maintain accurate sales records and stay updated on company offerings to serve as a knowledgeable resource for prospective and current clients.

Qualifications

  • This is an in-person role based in Mission, KS — you should be available to work from our local office
  • Sales expertise, including lead generation, prospecting, and relationship building
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of software development, SaaS platforms, and technology trends
  • Ability to manage sales cycles and handle objections effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
  • Previous experience in selling software services or technical solutions is a plus
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound leads and schedule discovery calls
  • Conduct client discovery meetings to identify needs and pain points
  • Collaborate with the Solution Architect to create customized proposals
  • Follow up, manage objections, and close new business
  • Maintain CRM records and track pipeline progress
  • Coordinate handoff to the project delivery team

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $35,600 – $42,000/year (depending on experience)
  • Commission: % of revenue from deals you close
  • Performance Bonus: quarterly, when sales targets are achieved
  • Direct mentorship from the founder and growth opportunities as the company scales
