Occupational Therapy Assistant Earn & Learn Program Summary:

Employees accepted into the two-year accredited program will be awarded full tuition, books and fee paid for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Associate's degree program offered through Kennebec Valley Community College (KVCC).

During the sponsorship timeframe, Northern Light Acadia Hospital will pay for the employee to attend class, labs and study, up to 20 hours per week.

During the sponsorship timeframe, the employee will work 20 hours per week in Group Activity Coordinator or Occupational Therapy Aide. Employees accepted into the program will be considered full time and will be eligible to receive full time benefits.

At the completion of the program and once students have an active National Board in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification and Maine OTA license, the employee promises to remain a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant with Northern Light Acadia Hospital for 4 years.

To be considered, candidates must include an acceptance letter to the Occupational Therapy Assistant Associate's Degree program with Kennebec Valley Community College (KVCC), Western Avenue, Fairfield, ME with the Northern Light earn & learn application OR provide a copy of the transcript if already enrolled in the KVCC Occupational Therapy Assistant Associate's Degree program with their Northern Light earn & learn application.
