Lake Station Community Schools is seeking certified school building administrator applicants for an elementary school Principal position at Virgil Bailey Elementary School (Grades PreK-5) for the 2026-2027 school year.

The job of Principal – Virgil Bailey Elementary School is established for the purposes of overseeing and directing the instructional process of the school with specific responsibility for directing all school programs and services at the elementary school; providing information and serving as a resource to others; supervising faculty and staff; coordinating and supervision of school activities, addressing discipline issues, attendance issues, situations that arise on campus or with enrolled students, and their parents, guardians, and staff. Bailey Elementary School serves an ethnically, racially, and socioeconomically diverse community. Bailey Elementary School is a fast-paced environment that may present rapidly evolving situations requiring quick appropriate decision making and decisive action; while meeting the needs of the students, families, faculty, and staff as the school Principal.
