* No VISA sponsorships * $36.00 per hour * 9 month project We are looking for **Skid Steer Operators** to assist with the initial mobilisation and logistics of a major solar farm located in **Rangitaiki**. It will be one of the largest solar farms in NZ once completed. The skid steer operations will include **using forks** to move solar equipment around the farm. When there is no operating to do, you will be required to **labour** at times - labour includes: opening boxes, unpacking equipment, cleaning rubbish and other general labour tasks **Experience operating a Skid Steer confidently on a construction site or farm is a minimum requirement.** **What you'll get:** * *$36.00 per hour* * 9-month project * Opportunity to work on a large-scale renewables project * Monday - Saturday ~ 6/7am start usually working 10-hour shifts **Non-negotiable requirements:** * Experience operating skid steer on construction sites or farming environments * WTR endorsement with a full class 1 drivers' licence * Must be comfortable getting off the machine to help with labour * Your own transport to get yourself to the pick up point in **Taupo** * Pass a pre-employment drugs test **Preferable/ideal requirements:** * Ideally experienced using fork attachments or similar (forklift/forkhoist) * Some experience working on a solar farm If this is something you're interested in being a part of, and you meet the non-negotiable requirements, **apply today** or send me your CV with your contact details to **jonathan.beattie@hays.net.nz**
