Loan Officer Assistant

THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION; must be able to work in office M-F 9am to 6pm

We are seeking an ELITE LEVEL Licensed Loan Officer Assistant to work in-office in Garden City, NY.

This is a unique and rare opportunity to work alongside one of the top producing Loan Originators in NY.

We are not seeking just an "assistant" - this will be a fully integrated, in the weeds position with endless opportunity to grow with a winning team!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• This is a mandatory in-office position; must be local and willing to work M-F 9am to 6pm in the office in Garden City.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a sales role related to loan origination (Loan Officer, LOA, Processor)
• Strong working knowledge of technology and mortgage software; Salesforce is a plus
• Forward thinking - ability to use AI platforms, Chat, etc.
• Holding a license as a Mortgage Loan Originator would be beneficial, or candidates must be willing to pursue licensing in NY
• Excellent communication skills necessary – high energy, outgoing and loves to work with people and build relationships
• Must be responsive during and after office hours and must be comfortable taking calls (and sending updated preapprovals) on weekends and evenings as necessary
• Candidates should possess a sales-driven mindset and be able to contribute to business growth initiatives.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and openness to learning from industry experts are key attributes sought for this role.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Engage in sales activities including preapproving files and owning the file from start to finish
• Utilize your sales acumen to structure loans and get them closed.
• Referrals are everything so attention to detail at every step is essential.
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of professionals committed to excellence and continuous improvement
