Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Prep Supply – 1st Shift
Location: Newburyport, MA

Schedule and Hours: Mon- Thurs. 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $18.11/hr
Type: Temp-to-Perm

Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate you will pull and prepare (kit) ingredients and supplies to support production while following safety, quality, and inventory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull and kit ingredients for production
• Follow FIFO procedures and track lot numbers
• Complete daily inventory/DSI transactions
• Supply packaging materials to production
• Use production schedules and material plans to allocate inventory
• Load/unload trucks as needed
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric hand trucks
• Track raw material locations and lot codes
• Follow HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
• Assist with audits and continuous improvement efforts
• Communicate with team to maintain production flow and avoid downtime
• Cover other warehouse roles as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic English reading/writing skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Basic computer skills (Excel preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, math, and organization skills
