Job Summary:
Responsible for leading all production operations within the EMV® manufacturing department, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output. Accountable for achieving departmental KPIs in safety, scrap reduction, productivity, on-time delivery, and cost control, while developing a high-performing operations team. Drives performance through Lean manufacturing, KPI management, and strong team leadership. Partners with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and availability. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership
- Lead daily EMV® production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Execute production schedules and ensure alignment with customer requirements and inventory accuracy.
- Monitor and improve KPIs: safety, scrap, efficiency, throughput, cost.
- Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and rapid issue resolution.
- Reduce scrap and rework through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with EMV®, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement Lean manufacturing, standard work, and process optimization initiatives.
- Manage departmental budget and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
- Provide monthly performance and P&L insights to leadership.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production staff.
- Ensure training, cross-training, and skill development to support operational flexibility.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Support new product introductions and process changes.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/operations leadership experience.
- Strong analytical skills, including statistical reasoning.
- Experience with operational controls, manufacturing processes, logistics, safety, and quality systems.
- Demonstrated leadership experience developing teams and driving performance.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and GMP principles.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High standards of personal integrity.
- Experience in the plastic card, EMV®, or secure card manufacturing industry.
The pay range for this position is $125,000-$145,000 and is eligible for an annual bonus.
