Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Desk Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that the store meets its sales and profitability goals. You will play a key role in creating an engaging experience while maintaining high standards of pet care.

Duties

  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
  • This position will also require availability for 5-6 days/week including weekends and holidays.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products.
  • Conduct employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team performance.
  • Manage payroll, budgeting, and bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent for the store.
  • Supervise daily operations including shift management, cash handling, and POS transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment that aligns with company standards.
  • Utilize retail math for pricing strategies and inventory control to maximize profitability.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management.
  • Develop marketing initiatives to promote store sales and enhance customer engagement.

Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role. Key qualifications include:

  • Proven track record in pet care and store management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in purchasing and vendor relations.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to enhance customer interactions.
  • Familiarity with merchandising techniques, inventory control systems, and cashiering processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
