We are hiring a motivated and creative Sales Designer to manage luxury design sales for residential and commercial clients. The role combines premium client consultation, high-end design presentation, and revenue generation through a commission-based model. The ideal candidate can convert leads into long-term clients while maintaining exceptional design standards.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and present luxury interior design proposals including mood boards, space plans, and 3D renderings tailored to each client's vision
- Source and specify premium furniture, fixtures, lighting, finishes, and art from leading luxury vendors and artisans
- Manage full project execution from concept through final installation, maintaining the highest quality standards
- Conduct in-depth client discovery meetings to understand aesthetic goals, lifestyle, and budget parameters
- Present and close high-value design proposals to a sophisticated, high-net-worth clientele
- Manage the full sales cycle from first consultation through signed contract and project kick-off
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals
- Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted luxury market outreach
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional interior design experience with a focus on luxury residential or commercial projects
- Proven track record in sales or client-facing roles
- Proficiency in design tools
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel across Long Island
