Position Overview
We work with a variety of clients to create aesthetically pleasing, functional, and human-centered sustainable spaces for a broad range of projects in healthcare, education, civic, mixed-use, commercial, residential, and more. This position will use their knowledge of building codes, building systems, ADA building requirements, submittals, fieldwork, construction documents, and technical expertise using Revit and Bluebeam to create detailed architectural drawings.

Essential Functions
  • Use Revit to create full-scale and detailed designs of buildings and interiors.
  • Study building codes and regulations to determine how they will affect architectural designs.
  • Organize structural, electrical, and mechanical designs from consultants.
  • Draw plans for foundations, buildings, and structures.
  • Visit jobsites to gather data needed to complete designs.
  • Determine the types of materials needed and calculates the quantity to be ordered.
  • Assist with submittals and the preparation of bid packages.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC team.
  • Conduct punch lists for final project completion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of related architectural drafting experience.
  • Experience and proficiency using Revit and Bluebeam to produce detailed quality architectural drawings.
  • Experience using other architectural drafting or modeling programs or tools.
  • Basic understanding of building codes and building systems.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Hybrid work format (3 days in office; 2 days remote).
  • An authentic studio culture that values teamwork, flexibility, and a shared passion for design.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to navigate project sites.
  • Must be able to lift up-to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • English language communication and client interface skills.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for sponsorship.
Education
  • Associate’s degree in architecture, architectural drafting, or related field.
  • Revit certification preferred.
