JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities: Know, understand, and support the
mission of the Women\'s Resource Center A commitment to establishing a warm, welcoming and trauma informed space for all Domestic Violence Victims. Implement Core values, respect, diversity & inclusion, leadership and accountability, integrity and client support for all domestic violence victims. Creating a safe and age appropriate learning environment for children of Domestic Violence Build strong Family relationships, strengthen the bond between protective parent and their children Focus on Trauma informed care and building positive relationship between staff and members of the Women\'s Resource Center program Assist victims/survivors in overcoming barriers they face Participate is activities with Racine County Facilitate Safe-start youth councils where appropriate. Work with Safe Start Specialist to develop peer educator training and supervise youth council members as they work to be the \"teen voice to the issue of dating violence\" Work with Safe Start Coordinator to establish and facilitate one large scale public awareness event annually ( Safe-start conference) Work with other youth serving organizations locally and on a state level to advance the message of prevention of dating violence Provide training, public education and public awareness materials to youth service professionals annually Attend community engagement events as scheduled Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor Present healthy relationships material to youth, both outreach and in shelter Work with Safe start Specialist and Holistic Healing Coach to provide youth groups 2-3 times a week in shelter, one group for each age range in shelter Cultivate and maintain a relationship with RUSD Attend Family preservation West Attend Weekly staffing meeting Provide Advocate desk coverage if needed Responsibilities: Know, understand, and support the mission of the Women\'s Resource Center A commitment to establishing a warm, welcoming and trauma informed space for all Domestic Violence Victims. Submit reports and review reports or problems with superior. Interview individuals or family members to compile information on social, educational, criminal, institutional, or drug history. Provide information or refer individuals to public or private agencies or community services for assistance. Advise clients regarding food stamps, child care, food, money management, sanitation, or housekeeping. Oversee day-to-day group activities of residents in institution.
