Position: Patient Access Advocate

Medmonk is seeking a highly motivated Patient Access Advocate with a strong sense of integrity and commitment to patient support and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, onsite position in our Itasca, IL office. The role is available for immediate hire. The ideal candidate will have experience in specialty pharmacy or home infusion reimbursement and demonstrate a passion for helping patients overcome barriers to care, access their prescribed therapies, and navigate the reimbursement process.

Experience Preferred:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the following areas:
  • Pharmacy and medical benefit prior billing, including prior authorization for specialty or home infusion therapies
  • Copay assistance programs and coordination of home infusion or alternate site of care for specialty drugs
  • Specialty pharmacy dispensing and billing processes for high-cost medications
  • Physician office billing and reimbursement processes

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Assist customers with various issues, including application and claims support.
  • Gather customer information thoroughly, assess needs, and educate customers to help prevent future issues.
  • Document interactions using contact tracking systems.
  • Operate automated information systems independently.
  • Provide quality service and support in benefit investigations, prior authorizations, patient copay balances, and troubleshooting.
  • Offer accurate and comprehensive information regarding Medmonk’s programs and services.
  • Compile and generate customer service reports as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
