Description: 1.0 Middle School Media Clerk

Job Summary:

Work with staff and students to provide access to materials in media center circulation collection.
Manage the return of items to appropriate locations.
Supervise students throughout various locations in the school building.
Support one-on-one and group learning activities in a variety of settings as directed.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
Multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities.
Display flexibility and openness to change in duties and schedule.
Participate in ongoing staff development and dedication to continuous professional growth.
Problem-solve and diffuse difficult situations under time constraints.

Qualifications

Previous work in a school setting preferred.
Ability to initiate tasks based on situational needs.
Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new programs.
Previous work as an administrative assistant preferred.
Knowledge of data privacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Building/Site: Middle School

Schedule: 6.5 hours/day, 169 days/year (student days)

Bargaining Group and Level: ESP Responsibility Level II

COMPENSATION

Hourly Wage: $19.18-$22.36

INSURANCE

Single Health: 90% Covered by District
