Job Title: Orthodontic Dental Assistant
Location: Springfield, MA
Job Type: Contract (Travel or Local)
Shift: Per Diem
Duration: Up to 52 weeks (based on candidate preference)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Springfield, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures
• Assist the doctor during patient treatments and handle orthodontic appliances
• Educate patients on treatment plans, post-care, and oral hygiene
• Manage patient scheduling and support front-office tasks
• Assist with billing, insurance, and treatment planning support
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
• Address patient and staff concern professionally
• Support a positive and team-oriented clinic environment

Requirements:

• Experience as a Dental or Orthodontic Assistant
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Completion of Dental Assistant program or 1+ year hands-on experience
• X-ray certification preferred
• Familiarity with dental software and charting systems preferred
