The Opportunity
We are a professional fiduciary firm serving vulnerable people, mostly elderly, in Jefferson County, Colorado. We manage financial affairs, coordinate care, and represent our clients as Power of Attorney, Conservator, or Personal Representative of their estate.
We are expanding our team and looking for an Associate Fiduciary. You will start with structured mentorship from an experienced professional fiduciary who has served this community for decades. Within six months, you will carry your own caseload with increasing independence. Within a year, you will be the Senior Fiduciary helping onboard a second team member.
This is a ground-floor opportunity with a firm that is growing intentionally.
What You Will Do
- Manage financial affairs for clients: bill payment, budgeting, account reconciliation, tax document preparation, estate and asset management.
- Maintain court compliance: file annual accountings with Jefferson County District Court, attend hearings, respond to court inquiries, and keep documentation at judicial standards.
- Conduct regular in-person visits with clients across Jefferson County. Coordinate care with facilities, guardians, medical providers, and family members.
- Coordinate with attorneys, real estate agents, financial advisors, and other partners to support clients’ estates and wellbeing.
- Represent the firm with professionalism and warmth in every interaction with attorneys, court staff, social workers, and referral partners.
- Be available for occasional after-hours client emergencies.
What This Work Looks Like
- You will visit a client in a memory care unit who lights up when you walk in because she loves a visitor and has had hard days recently. You’ll notice her favorite Diet Coke is running low and make sure it’s restocked before your next visit. You also make sure her care facility is treating her well. For most of our clients, you are the family they don’t have.
- You will pay bills, balance accounts, and make sure every dollar is accounted for. Every visit is documented. You notice that a client is paying for a subscription they have never used and cancel it. These details are the baseline of our work and how trust compounds.
- You will have clients pass away. You will coordinate with the family, the facility, and the court to close out their affairs with the same care you gave them while they were alive.
- You will file court paperwork that a judge will read, always on time supported by the correct documentation.
- You will work alongside people who bring breakfast burritos on a Tuesday for no reason, send jokes in the group chat, and genuinely care about each other. This work is serious but we don’t have to be! We use purpose-built software, keep our systems tight, and still make time to celebrate wins together and enjoy our time at work.
This work is serious and it is necessary. It’s also the kind of work where you go home knowing your day mattered.

Why This Role Is Different
Most fiduciary positions put you inside a cubicle where you manage a number on a spreadsheet. This role puts you across the table from real people. You will know every client by name. You will make decisions that directly affect their quality of life. You will learn the work from a professional who has built her reputation in Jefferson County over decades, and work alongside our senior fiduciary on the day-to-day.
Our team runs on four values: love people, details matter, tell the truth, be the light. We hire people who live those out. We invest in them with coaching, professional development, profit sharing, and a path to grow.
