Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Operating Room for an exciting Travel or Local job in Kansas City, MO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery and provide pre-operative education
• Prepare patients for surgery including IV therapy and medication administration
• Perform surgical site verification (Time Out procedures)
• Monitor patient condition during surgical procedures
• Respond to intra-operative emergencies using clinical judgment
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technologists, and anesthesia teams
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols
• Support efficient surgical workflow and operations
• Maintain accurate peri-operative documentation
• Provide patient-centered care in high-acuity surgical settings

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ year of recent OR RN experience (scrub and/or circulating)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to work in high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment
