Khalsa Design Inc. (KDI) is an established architectural firm located in Somerville, Massachusetts. Although KDI’s client base is diverse, we specialize in Multi-Family Residential, Hospitality, Retail, and Mixed-Use projects.

Position Overview:

KDI is seeking a self-motivated architectural draftsperson with attention to detail and the ability to effectively produce design and construction documents for a variety of projects, with a focus on mixed-use and multifamily structures. A minimum of 3 years of experience producing construction documents is required, along with proficiency in Autodesk REVIT software. Knowledge of podium and wood frame construction is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Professional architectural degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in producing construction documents.
• Understanding of building systems, including experience coordinating structural and MEP drawings.
• Organized and detail-driven.
• Able to work effectively with the project manager and the rest of the project team.
• Proficient in the current version of Revit.
• Understanding of local building codes, including accessibility and energy codes.
• Ability to commute to our office in Somerville, MA.
