Production Assistant – Custom Embossing & Crafting

Job Summary
Oakmont online retail business is seeking a detail-oriented, creative Production Assistant to help bring our personalized products to life. We specialize in high-end, style home, hobby and travel accessories, and we need a hands-on maker to for our custom embossing process.

This is a perfect role for a local maker, student, or hobbyist who loves working with their hands and has an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Gold Foil Embossing: Perform custom gold foil stamping on leather products. This requires attention to detail to ensure clean, professional, and centered results.
• Order Fulfillment: Carefully pack finished products for shipment. You will ensure each order is presented beautifully and securely, maintaining the look our brand is known for.
• Precision Crafting: Utilize tools like a Cricut or heat press to prep materials and execute custom designs.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect every item before it’s packed to ensure the embossing is flawless and the order is accurate.

Qualifications

• Independent Worker: You are comfortable working solo in an office environment. You are self-motivated, reliable, and able to follow a checklist to completion without onsite supervision.
• Crafting Experience: Hands-on experience with a Cricut, heat press, or leather stamping tools is highly preferred.
• Detail-Oriented: You have a "perfectionist" eye for alignment and presentation.
• Local to Oakmont: Must be able to commute to our Oakmont location.
• Trustworthy: Since you will have independent access to the studio, integrity and reliability are paramount.
