Salary Range: $60,000–$67,000

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Individual Giving & Engagement Manager is responsible for executing Coal Creek Meals on Wheels’ annual
giving program, including donor acquisition, retention, stewardship, and monthly giving. This role also leads the execution of
fundraising events and manages day-to-day marketing and communications to support revenue growth and community
engagement.
This is a highly execution-focused role responsible for bringing fundraising strategy to life—building campaigns, managing
timelines, and ensuring consistent, high-quality donor engagement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities: Individual Giving (Primary Focus)
- Execute all aspects of the annual giving program, including, retention, and upgrades.
- Build and implement fundraising campaigns, including year-end appeals, spring campaigns, and other giving
- initiatives.
- Manage the monthly giving program, including promotion and stewardship.
- Execute donor communication plans, including appeals, thank-you processes, and impact reporting.
- Track performance metrics (retention, average gift, donor growth) and support ongoing improvements.
- Maintain accurate donor records and effective use of the CRM.
Events (Supporting Revenue Strategy)
- Plan and execute fundraising and donor engagement events, including the annual fundraiser and stewardship
- events.
- Manage logistics, budgets, vendors, sponsorship fulfillment, and timelines.
- Recruit and manage volunteers for events as needed.
- Evaluate event performance and support continuous improvement.
Marketing & Communications (In Service of Fundraising)
- Execute the organization’s marketing and communications calendar.
- Develop content for email campaigns, social media, website updates, and print materials.
- Create compelling donor-focused messaging and storytelling that drives engagement and giving.
- Track engagement metrics and adjust tactics to improve performance.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, marketing, communications, or related field.
- Experience executing fundraising campaigns and/or donor stewardship strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling ability.
- Experience with marketing platforms (email, social media, basic design tools).
- Experience with donor databases/CRM systems.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for the mission of Coal Creek Meals on Wheels.
